Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions outline the agreement between Branded Africa Safaris (“the Company,” “we,” or “us”) and you (“the client,” “traveler,” or “you”) for all services provided. Please read them carefully before confirming your booking. By booking with Branded Africa Safaris, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

If you have any questions or require clarification, please contact us prior to confirming your reservation.

1. Booking and Payment

1.1 All bookings are subject to availability and will only be confirmed upon receipt of payment as outlined below.

1.2 A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total tour cost per person is required at the time of booking. For certain tours, a higher deposit may be requested and will be communicated before confirmation.

1.3 Gorilla permits (where applicable) must be paid for in full at the time of booking. These payments are strictly non-refundable.

1.4 The balance of payment must be made no later than 30 days prior to the tour start date, unless otherwise agreed. In some cases, partial payment upon arrival may be accepted. Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking, subject to cancellation terms.

1.5 Bookings made within 30 days of the departure date require full payment at the time of booking.

1.6 Clients must provide full and accurate passenger details (as per passport) at the time of booking.

2. Prices

2.1 All prices are quoted in US Dollars (USD) unless otherwise stated.

2.2 Prices are subject to change until confirmed.

2.3 Quoted prices typically include:

  • Accommodation as specified in the itinerary.

  • National park and reserve entrance fees.

  • Overland transportation and domestic flights (where indicated).

  • Services of professional guides and drivers.

  • Meals as specified (usually breakfast, lunch, and dinner).

  • Unlimited drinking water during safari (not at lodges/camps).

  • Scheduled game drives and listed activities.

2.4 Prices do not include: international flights, visas, travel insurance, personal expenses, laundry, beverages, tips, and services not specified in the itinerary.

2.5 Branded Africa Safaris reserves the right to substitute equivalent accommodation where necessary.

3. Descriptions & Services

3.1 All descriptions and information are provided in good faith and based on the latest details available. Branded Africa Safaris is not liable for minor deviations beyond our control.

3.2 Vehicles are maintained to safe, roadworthy standards. In the event of breakdowns or road delays, we will make every effort to minimize disruption, but we accept no liability for delays or schedule changes caused by such incidents.

3.3 Subcontractors may be used when necessary.

3.4 While our guides strive to maximize wildlife sightings, we cannot guarantee encounters with specific animals.

4. Complaints

4.1 Any dissatisfaction during the safari should be reported immediately to your guide or company representative to allow resolution.

4.2 If the issue remains unresolved, a formal written complaint must be submitted to Branded Africa Safaris within 28 days of tour completion. Complaints not reported within this period cannot be considered.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

5.1 Cancellation by the Client
  • More than 30 days before departure: 50% of deposit forfeited.

  • 30–15 days before departure: 50% of total cost forfeited.

  • Less than 15 days before departure: 100% of total cost forfeited.

  • Gorilla permits are always non-refundable.

No refunds are given for unused services, missed arrivals, or late participation.

5.2 Cancellation by Branded Africa Safaris

We reserve the right to cancel a booking in the event of:

  • Non-payment of the balance.

  • Circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, airline cancellations).

In such cases, clients will be offered:
a) Alternative arrangements of a similar standard and price.
b) Lower-cost alternatives with the difference refunded.
c) Higher-cost alternatives with the difference payable by the client.
d) A full refund.

6. Alterations

6.1 By the Client: We will endeavor to accommodate booking changes but cannot guarantee availability. Additional costs may apply.

6.2 By Branded Africa Safaris: We reserve the right to alter itineraries when necessary, ensuring changes are of equal or higher quality where possible. In the case of significant changes, the options outlined in Section 5.2 will apply.

6.3 By Third Parties: We are not liable for changes made by suppliers, but we will communicate such changes as quickly as possible.

6.4 Due to Force Majeure: Events beyond our control (e.g., weather, strikes, political unrest, road closures, natural disasters) may require itinerary adjustments. Any additional costs will be borne by the client, though we will assist in minimizing expenses where possible.

7. Liability

7.1 Participation in a safari involves inherent risks. Branded Africa Safaris accepts no responsibility for illness, injury, death, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from your tour.

7.2 While we work with reputable suppliers, we cannot accept liability for their errors or omissions.

7.3 Clients are responsible for their own safety and participate at their own risk.

7.4 We are not liable for disruptions caused by events outside our control, including flight delays, government actions, terrorism, epidemics, or natural disasters.

8. Medical & Travel Documentation

8.1 Clients are responsible for arranging valid passports, visas, health certificates, vaccinations, and insurance. Branded Africa Safaris accepts no liability for failure to comply with entry requirements.

8.2 Clients must report on time for all transfers and flights. Costs arising from missed connections, denied entry, or incorrect documents are the sole responsibility of the client.

9. Tour Authority

9.1 Clients must respect the authority of guides and drivers. Failure to comply may result in removal from the safari without refund.

9.2 All clients must adhere to local laws and park regulations.

9.3 Branded Africa Safaris reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone whose behavior is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or offensive to others.
